Live-Action

Live-action refers to a style of filmmaking or animation that involves real human actors and physical settings, as opposed to animation that is created through drawings or computer-generated imagery (CGI). In live-action productions, the performances and scenes are captured in real time using cameras, resulting in a visual representation that closely mimics reality. This term is often used in the context of film and television to differentiate works featuring live actors from animated works. Live-action can encompass various genres, including drama, action, fantasy, and comedy, and is frequently used in adaptations of animated properties, comic books, or video games, where a narrative previously presented in animated form is brought to life with real actors.
