Football

Football is a team sport played between two teams, typically consisting of eleven players each, on a rectangular field with a goal at each end. The objective of the game is to score by getting a ball into the opposing team’s goal, primarily using the feet, but allowing other body parts, excluding arms and hands, to control the ball. Football is known by different names in various regions; in many countries, it is referred to as “soccer.” The sport has numerous variations, with association football (soccer) being the most popular globally, governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Other forms include American football and Australian rules football, each with distinct rules and gameplay. Football is celebrated for its cultural significance, teamwork, strategy, and physical skill, making it one of the most widely played and followed sports in the world.
