Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of lead vocalist Patrick Stump, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, rhythm guitarist Andy Hurley, and bassist Pete Wentz, who is also the primary lyricist. Their music incorporates elements of pop punk, emo, and alternative rock, characterized by catchy melodies, introspective lyrics, and dynamic instrumentation. Fall Out Boy gained significant popularity in the mid-2000s with hit albums like “From Under the Cork Tree” and “Infinity on High,” featuring singles such as “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” and “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race.” The band is known for their energetic performances and has influenced a generation of musicians within the pop punk and emo genres. After a hiatus from 2009 to 2013, Fall Out Boy made a successful return to music, releasing new material and continuing to tour.
